| Eva Skierska Born in Poland, Eva Skiertska creates her whimsical paintings at her studio in Toronto, Canada. Small or large, the craftsmanship is never sacrificed in her paintings. She creates her fantasy pieces over a few weeks, painting with the smallest brushes, tint after tint, detail after detail to achive a desired effect. |

Farrell |

| painter Proust would have loved painter Holly Farrell. Her moody, often melancholy depictions of commonplace objects, like a rollaway cot, metal lawn chair or china teacup, are the Canuck equivalent of his reverie-inducing medeleine. Farrell, an artist from Burks Fall who has gathered a strong local following, started painting familiar objects like furniture to teach herself how to draw. "When they started to take a character of their own," says Farrell, "I realized I was really painting portraits without any people in them. |

Visual Artist In my studio in Newmarket, Ontario, I experiment with various materials and constantly work toward perfecting my technique. Integrating and adapting the varied facets of colour and material I attempt to best portray my chosen theme: the sea and its creatures. The sea and its power profoundly move me, and its variety and mystery infuse me with a deep sense of awe. I am particularly captivated by marine life and my art is influenced by the endless variety of form and function found in the creatures which inhabit our blue planet: turtles, seahorses, starfish, fish... |

Danilyants |
|
Oleg has deep artistic roots. He has grown in the family of artists. His mother and grandfather were artists and that influenced him to choose the same artistic walk of life. The manner of his painting is very different. Whether he paints still life or representational composition, it always has its own world and seems quaint and distorted. Every piece is a little story. His works are talking for themselves. Just listen closely. |

CHUNG
|
|
| oil paintings Peter paints houses to represent people, often with small windows as eyes and without doors to signify modern man's need for privacy. They are sometimes characters as family members, lovers, husband and wife, or friends. Houses as characters of family sometimes are arranged in an ideal home environment which is warm and peaceful. |

Danilyants - Shana |
|
| paintings Shana says her inspiration comes from inside. Rather than
choose her subjects, she allows them to choose her. Painting objects and
scenes that evoke an emotion in her, she draws upon her memories and experiences
to provide her with subjects. Shana prefers to work with oils and acrylics,
but she also enjoys experimenting with new mediums, always open to seeing
what can be rather than what is. |
