So I attempt to share some of it with you through pictures that speak to the human experience through hand painting and toning of some of my pieces. Born in England, Toronto photographer Steven Crainford has been taking photographs since he was a teeneger. He become more seriously involved in 1991 when he descovered the view camera. From then until 2003, he used this camera and black and white film exclusively. In 2003, he made the switch to digital photography and now uses this medium exclusivly both for taking and printing his images.
